Started photography in 1966 with a Petre camera, bought my first Pentax soon after and have had Pentax cameras ever since. I was President of the Auburn Camera Club until I moved to the Central Coast 1971 where I was an inaugural member in forming The Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club Camera Club. I gave up photography when my wife had our children. Due to the digital age I have rekindled my love for the art, moved to Hervey Bay 1989, Helped form the Hervey Bay Photography Club in which I'm Past President and Web Master. My reward of life membership was certainly a highlight this year. I'm now an accredited Judge with the Photographic Society of Queensland, and have received the honour of AAPS from the Australian Photographic Society. I have been the Chair of Nature Division of APS & in charge of a Nature Folio. I have upgraded to Canon this year and very happy with the change.
